Mr. Michael Ma was the Founding Chairman of the Lee Heng Diamond Group. He assumed the responsibility of the business at the young age of nineteen when Michael, Max, and Lawrence’s father passed away. He developed the business from the initial wholesale model to include diamond trading. Under his leadership, the Group expanded both in terms of geographic reach and in terms of business lines and core competencies, along the way building strong relationships with longstanding partners all over the world including William Goldberg and Leo Schachter and their families. He also helped the Group to develop into one of the largest suppliers of polished diamonds in Asia with a strong reputation in the industry for integrity. He was awarded the honour of Ridder in de Kroonorde (the national order of Knight in the Order of the Crown of the Kingdom of Belgium) in 1987 for his distinguished contribution to the diamond industry. He led the business for more than fifty years and currently takes a more strategic role.

Mr. Max Ma, currently the Chairman of Lee Heng Diamond Group and Founder and Chairman of the Mabros, MaBelle, and MADIA jewellery retail brands, is a prominent Asian business leader with diversified experience in public service.
Other than serving on the boards of the Law Reform Commission and of the Hong Kong Community Chest, he also served on the boards of various non-profit organizations such as the World Wildlife Fund, the Outward Bound Trust and The Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, of which he was also the Chairman from 1978-1983. He was then appointed Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) by Queen Elizabeth II in 1984 for his outstanding contribution to the society.
Mr Ma’s commitment to entrepreneurship can be seen in his establishment of CoCoon, a co-working space for entrepreneurs, mentors and investors, and also in his time as a Court Member of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, after which he became Chairman of the University Council’s Institutional Advancement and Outreach Committee from 2010-2016.
He received his Bachelor Degree of Business Administration from Boston University.

Mr. Lawrence Ma is the Chief Executive Officer of Lee Heng Diamond Group. He leads the development of the Group which evolved into various diversified companies in the diamond jewellery value chain ranging from diamond polishing, jewellery manufacturing, jewellery exporting and wholesaling as well as brick-and-mortar retailing as well as online shopping.
He also acts as the Founding President and Chairman of the Diamond Federation of Hong Kong, Vice-President of the Shanghai Diamond Exchange, Chairman of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council Fair Organizing Committee, and Honorary Vice President of Gems & Jewelry Trade Association of China.

Mr. Franklin Ma joined the Group in 1993 after graduating from Boston University and was appointed as a Director of Falconer Jewellers in 1997. He was responsible for diamond sorting and procurement and later took up the responsibility of managing Falconer Jewellers, a retail shop located in The Peninsula hotel in Hong Kong.

Mr. Marvin Ma re-joined the Group in 2015 and was appointed as a Director of Lee Heng Diamond in 2017. He is responsible for procurement of polished diamonds as well as business development of the Group’s branded diamonds.
He also acts as a Director of The Christian New Being Fellowship and a Non-official Member of the Action Committee Against Narcotics Sub-committee on Treatment and Rehabilitation. Mr. Ma holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Boston University.

Mr. Theodore Ma joined the Group in 2004 and was appointed as a Managing Director of Lee Heng Diamond Group in December 2013. He is responsible for online retailing business development and operations and the Group’s information technology infrastructure. He holds a Masters degree in E-commerce and Internet Computing from the University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a minor in Computer Science from Stanford University.

Mr. Calvin Ma joined the Group in 2015 and was appointed as a Director in Lee Heng Diamond. He is the Legal Counsel of the Group and Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer in the execution of strategic initiatives.
Mr. Ma graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 2008 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Economics with a triple concentration in finance, accounting, and operations management. He worked as an analyst in the technology, media, and telecom team of the investment banking division at Merrill Lynch, after which he received his Juris Doctor degree in 2012 and PCLL degree in 2013 from the University of Hong Kong. After spending two years as a trainee at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, he was admitted as a Solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong and joined the Group.

Ms. Connie Ho joined the Group in 1999 and was appointed as a Managing Director of the Group in December 2013. Ms. Ho has a diverse experience in both operations and management. She is the Managing Director of MaBelle Jewellery Company Ltd. and is responsible for the overall management of the retail business.

Ms. Cindy Lam joined the Group in 1995 and was appointed as a Managing Director of the Group in December 2013. Ms. Lam is well-experienced in jewellery management and production. She is responsible for overseeing product development and supply chain management.

Mr. Eddie Ho joined the Group in 1996 and was appointed as Managing Director in the same year. Mr. Ho has over thirty years of experience in finance, accounting and management. He is the Financial Controller of the Group and responsible for its financial management.
